High School

H.O.M.E. Program high school courses provide the same scope and rigor as courses taken in the other Renton high schools. We offer a limited number of on-site core classes for high school credit. We also offer virtual electives through the Edgenuity platform. Students planning to take high school level math classes will need to take a placement test.

Running Start is an option for students aged 16 and up. Through Running Start, students may enroll at a community college and their classes count for both high school and college credits. Many H.O.M.E. Program students choose to participate in Running Start. Students will need to enroll in another school after 10th grade to access Running Start.

Credits for home-based work done prior to enrolling in the program will only be accepted with an official transcript from an accredited institution.
